What are the different options in proc means?

In SAS, PROC MEANS is a procedure that can be used to calculate summary statistics for a set of variables. The following are some of the common options available in PROC MEANS:

1. VAR: Specifies the variables for which the summary statistics are to be calculated. You can list multiple variables separated by a space.

Syntax:

 

var variable1 variable2 ;

 

2. CLASS: Specifies the classification variables, which are used to group the data for the summary statistics. You can list multiple variables separated by a space.

Syntax:

class variable1 variable2 ;

3. TYPES: Specifies the types of summary statistics to be calculated. You can specify one or more of the following types: MEAN, MIN, MAX, RANGE, SUM, STD, VAR, CSS, CV, SKEWNESS, KURTOSIS, N, P1, P5, P10, P25, P50, P75, P90, P95, P99.
